Greenshoots of recovery ?

Seeds of Spring.
Sadly not the pound or footsy but I did see some guys from the train this morning down in the park next to Tower bridge carefully laying out rows of bedding plants which must at least show that spring is on it’s way.

And just now I had a good sarnie (mexican tuna filling fans!) sat in the warm sun in Exmouth Market. I get mocked at work by those with thinner blood for this winter sun bathing but I'm sure 20 minutes in the sharp winter sunlight does you more good than a month of detox or mango smoothies.

Oh and Exmouth market has a coffee shop that sells records score!

The coffee shop didn't have loads of stock (it's probably having a hard time like a lot of music shops)so don't go there especially, it's just a good place to pop into if you are in the area and the coffees good too.
I've seen that transfer site before it's genius we loved the weetabix models as kids.
I'm rather heartened how easily we were pleased in those days.

What makes a tuna Mexican?

C&M: a mustache and a poncho!!
but in this case though "Los tuna Mexicanas" had some kidney beans, peppers, onions and possibly avocado in it and it was a tad spicey but best of all mayo free. It was from Tito's, tell them chris sent you and they'll say "who?"

Sadly, I am rarely near Exmouth Market. Although I did go to a good Thai restaurant there once...can't remember what it's called...

I hope PM to going to a good pub in Spitalfields - it's a bit hit and miss round there.

Curry was Ok, but not as good as last time, but ended up in the 10 Bells - not bad, but rammed due to a birthday crowd being in - personally I prefer the one on the Hanway St corner or the Oxygen bar

PM: do you mean Bradley tapas bar in hanway st if so it is top.
What's the Oxygen bar like I've seen it but i've thought it might be rammed with tourists and a bit overpriced.

that's my dear old chum jeremy what runs brill on exmouth market. if you ask him very very nicely he might show you the huge basement full of top class vinyl. or at least a list. it must be a struggle to sell cds these days cos that's why he had to start selling coffee and snacks too
