Use your Vote!

Happy May Day:
I hope you are planning to vote. Don’t give me any jip about not voting other wise I’ll have to bring out my list it goes something like this: the Putney debates, the diggers, the Tolpuddle martyrs, the Peterloo massacre, the King’s race horse, the cable st riots, sword and Juno beaches... need I go on.
If you don't vote and you get a BNP candidate it's your fault.
So go out and vote.

Formal council elections are not the only way we can effect change, why not have a look at what Oxfam are doing to help people. Or choose another charity who need your help, maybe a local one or you can help in another way, if you’ve got professional skills these are often more useful than just a pair of hands, or you could ring up about that dumped car down your street, write to your MP about the 10% tax fiasco, plant some bulbs.

We can change the world one action at a time, one in every 100 person in the world is British so think on. You can start by offering to make the tea.

That's very positive of you BLTP (although I am still dreading the results tomorrow morning).

Cheers for the link by the way, although to be pernickity it is Cocktails and Records!

I try to be postive but not in a happy clappy way, I'm all for basic socialism where we change things for the better ourseleves, this does include charity shops selling vinyl, people setting up their own club nights, as well as campaigning to free tibet passivity is never attractive. I've changed your link BTW.
