Blue Movie:
As a spectacle it was brilliant, I didn't fully settle into the 3D, think the realisation of the world would have been great in 2D especially with the sound at Odeon Leicester square. The story is a bit ropey and the jarring bits did spoil the immersive nature of the thing. So really worth seeing but would like to see a grown up less CGI film in 3D to see how it works in the none video gaming end of things.

Bah humbug.
And 'Squoze' is my new favourite word.
how did it work with your normal specs? can you wear the 3d ones just over the top? This really puts me off!!
C/M it worked ok with my normal glasses. It did take a little getting use to and occasionaly when the scene change from a close up to a wide shot you found your eyes adjusting. not sure if this is me or happens for everyone I imagine in time film maker will improve their technique to stop this happening.
It was intriguing and certainly very striking still not sure it would work for every film though.
well, that's worth knowing. I think I'll have to give it a try some time. It's the only way I'm going to find out if Mark Kermode is right about this whole 3d thing! (I see that you're a fan of his r5 show too)
Yep Dr K is ace wouldn't take his advice as futureologist though seeing as he thinks the introduction of drums to rock and roll was mistake!
